We are building housing etc using a 20th century mindset. 21st Century Housing should be like the Via Verde Housing in the Bronx for low & middle income families- with urban gardens on stepped rooftops -you can access from ground level-walk up to highest roof -views, etc

If we build housing w/ gardens on stepped roofs & connect roofs across major thoughfares with heavy vehicle traffic - we can put wild habitat, gardens, meditation spaces, respite from urban ills into these roadway park links - like Seattle’s Freeway Park connecting neighborhoods

We can look to these urban gardens & parks on rooftops & across major city roadways to help provide food for humans & food & habitat for creatures - to offset global warming fires/floods/droughts/famines disasters- please note- it’s not only humans becoming homeless

Creating creature/pedestrian bridges/paths over traffic through urban areas (e.g. New York High line parkway built on former elevated railway) - will enable people & creatures to leave a city or urban area safely =>escape route if a major crisis or global warming disaster occurs

And having elevated pathways will be necessary in urban zones prone to flooding!
