What we call “the issues” aren’t the deeper issue. They are symptoms of a deeper cause: that the U.S. has wandered off course from a functional democracy to a dysfunctional oligarchy. Only the American people awakening to this fact will create a strong enough force to change it.

IMO impt for #demdebate 2 is the point you make re: words used in talking about socialism, etc. here youtube.com/GhPIRsjHZiQ?t=2490 and aspect of cooperatively w/other candidates, not more fighting & fear/hate causing EXHAUSTION you mention elsewhere

Humans are compromised. We need to take back the planet from the few. And we will because the few are corrupt and growing old.

We keep misting the leaves and wonder why the roots don’t grow strong. Maybe some drops get down deep, but futile so. We need a leader who has a strong moral-visionary compass to shift these basic principles into alignment. We can’t just ask for policy we need deep wisdom. MW🇺🇸

I like your phrase, "disfunctional oligarchy." ( I imagine that the very wealthy find it quite functional.)

No, it isn't working. Nor is it health care. Yet it costs twice as much as any country in the top 10. It's medical care, and it's invasively expensive. But what if we thought of health care as what we do for ourselves?

And maybe we wandered off course because we've decided to worship money instead of Spirit. There's nothing wrong with money unless it becomes our raison d'etre. Much like enjoying a glass of wine as opposed to craving a bottle of wine before breakfast.
