NY Magazine calls me a “peacemonger”...says my views “highly unusual” for “deep permanent defense-spending cuts & complete reorientation of international relations to focus on conflict prevention.” That I “challenge mainstream views of America’s role in the world.” IMAGINE THAT!

Neville Chamberlin was a peacemonger too.

No he wasn’t; there is a big difference between a peacemaker and an appeaser. Nothing I have ever said is to suggest that we appease evil. As a matter of fact, my entire candidacy is based on the idea that we should not.

Defense spending to have overwhelming force & the will to use it is the best deterrent to creeping & aggressive evil. Reagan was called a warmonger yet his policies brought about actual reductions in nuclear arms and the failure of a truly evil system. Evil is not on the wane.

Every appeaser in history thought of themselves as peacemakers. You said you would reinstate the Iran Nuke Deal. That is appeasing evil. It is worth less than the paper the “Peace in Our Time” agreement was written on. Iran is the biggest sponsor of terrorism world wide.
