Agree; if done in a way that continues economic growth. Otherwise these ventures end up hurting more than they help.

Sorry, but it is naive to ignore history. I assume that you would have used hugs and kisses with Hitler and Stalin? Non-violence worked with Gandhi because the British weren't inherently evil. Nice doesn't work everywhere. Sometimes bullets are called for. Just the way it is

Dear one, love is wonderful, as is caring for our fellow humans, but please do remember what reality-politics and the real world looks like, you'll never make it in the present times if you're running on 250% idealism and -250% realism.
