The idea of love toward into a political force shouldn’t seem absurd, given that hatred turned into political force is wreaking havoc with the world even now. Gandhi and MLK Jr. spoke of love turned into a large scale social force for good; creating that force is our task today.

On the first page of his first book “Stride Toward Freedom: The Montgomery Story,” MLK said plainly that he is writing the story of “those who learned to fight for their rights with the weapon of love”.

Everything you said on stage is true. But as you know, truth is experienced through the filter of our beliefs. This forms our world view. People are more comfortable embracing fear, and this I learned from you, because “it is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.”

I once heard @BreneBrown (on her first "Vulnerability" CD) speak about how hard it was to address "love" when she was speaking to colleagues. I wish I could recall her exact words. I no longer apologize for the idea of love as a force. It is. Let us create more.

Marianne, your vision is crazy to say nonetheless. Keep it up, seriously. We need to combat crazy love against crazy hatred. @realDonaldTrump
