What was up with the rumors of some mics going dead, as in Yang's? I wonder about the Presidential Debate Commission sometimes in how much they're making the debates a controlled social experiment. #PresidentialDebates
Thanks to @SenGillibrand for being genuinely sisterly, suggesting during the debate last night that I be given the chance to speak.

As much fun as I've had laughing at all the understandable hilarious tweets about me today, the mic issue is not funny and yes it did happen. I tried a couple of times to jump in and my mic was not on. Particularly wanted in on the subject of race.

Funny, they seemed to have let Gillebrand hop in whenever to make a fool of herself

Mics being turned off during the debate-? Outrageous! This is a serious threat to our democracy. It’s Time For The People To Step In.

Their need to silence you only speaks to the power which you possess and they fear.

Probably best it wasnt on based on what you said when it was on!!
Bring one of those portable street megaphones with you. With fresh batteries. You'll know what to do next time.
This may seem to confirm the probably correct fear of political bias by network television, think about it, do you really believe a director or stage audio worker was deliberately muting mics? More likely due to a nervous candidate's finger on the mic's switch.
I find this unbelievable. Is anyone going to ask MSNBC about this very undemocratic process. In other words MSNBC is trying to help pick the nominee
