What was up with the rumors of some mics going dead, as in Yang's? I wonder about the Presidential Debate Commission sometimes in how much they're making the debates a controlled social experiment. #PresidentialDebates
Thanks to @SenGillibrand for being genuinely sisterly, suggesting during the debate last night that I be given the chance to speak.

Replying to @Gregoriancant
As much fun as I've had laughing at all the understandable hilarious tweets about me today, the mic issue is not funny and yes it did happen. I tried a couple of times to jump in and my mic was not on. Particularly wanted in on the subject of race.

Yes you were speaking about reparations and then you were cut off by @KamalaHarris. That’s disturbing to hear that this happened not only to you but to @AndrewYang, too. Far from being fair and equitable debates. Time for The People to #RiseUp and #UNRIG the system.

There should have been mention by the candidates when their mics were on. But they obviously can't without looking petty to the masses. The more the media covers this story, the more people know. How they change it is more complicated without drastic action.

That's what she said first. 😉I just hope her reveal of this gets covered by the national media, because the PDC clearly wants to think the people are in control of these debates when they're not. Even those who get first Q's seem calculated.

You were high during that debate, weren't you @marwilliamson ? Admit it!!
You either mute all the mics or you mute none of them. No media outlet should have the power to push candidates in your face by preventing others from speaking. What gives MSNBC the right to decide who’s voice is heard and who’s is ignored.
Then it is time to get that information out there to MSM.
I heard your so brief comment on foreign policy, specific example/s mentioned. There are narratives that have been forcefully silenced all my life, including the 50s. High stakes to prevent open debate. The selective silencing of candidates is important to bring attention to
Kinda obvious. Letting candidates tear each other apart for 18 months before the general election only serves the purpose of generating TV revenues.
