Millions of American children live in chronic trauma and we should be rescuing them no differently than if they were victims of a natural disaster.Millions go to school every day hungry, in schools that don’t even have adequate school supplies to teach a child to read. #Bigtruth

I taught for 15 years. I was in the classroom and a witness to it every - single - day 180 days a year. No offense - but a milk delivery guy isn’t qualified to evaluate the mental well-being of our nation’s school children

I was sorry to see DeVos put in the education position as she is unable to understand these issues and is unwilling to change them. 4 more wasted years.

We can’t “rescue” America’s children, our homeless or vets when we continue to take on & take care of ppl who are here illegally & have dozens of free giveaway programs 4 able bodied workers. There’s only so much $ to go around & these policies only hurt hard working Americans.

True, so what's your plan to fix it?
Jennifer in NJ, why does your 'great awakening' so closely resemble the politics and the rhetoric of 1930s Germany? I am asking seriously. What do you see happening that is great right now? And why are the angels not protecting the kids dying at the border?

I can't exactly follow what you're saying, but I'm genuinely interested in where you get your news and information.

You know before government inserted itself into our education system we had better schools and scores.
