I haven't seen any demonization of immigrants as a whole. I have seen subsets of immigrant hopefuls (like those with violent criminal histories or those who would try to bypass the visa process by falsely trying to claim asylum) but never immigrants as a whole. In fact, I see

You have not learned to apply a Course in Miracles to your political issues, Marianne. The immigration policy in the United States is set up to be unloving toward Americans. Large scale population replacement so Dems get votes, the rich gets cheap labor, and the ego gets victims.
