Zhukov and faithful lieutenants such as Nikita Khruschev won the Battle of Stalingrad by encircling the German 6th Army and then loving them to death is an interesting take. I'll go with it - she has my vote.

I think this is what she means: The troops fought for the love of their country / loved ones at home So i can see why ''love'' conquered Stalingrad. (Ofcourse together with burning down villages and such)
