If you ever read an article saying that I told people with AIDS they didn't have to take their medicine because positive thinking would cure it; or that I ever told people who got sick that negative thinking caused it; please know both those things are complete and utter lies.
I'm afraid that's not enough. You need to go out there and talk about and show people that you know how scientific studies are conducted and how they come up with medical recommendations.
To “misspeak” implies you merely mixed up some information. You have repeatedly in public life parroted anti-vaxx talking points. Have you been misspeaking for years? Or were you ill informed and are better informed now? The distinction and owning up to it matters.
Anti Vaxxers are bad but it’s amazing the amount of vitriol people receive for offhand comments regarding them as opposed to people’s support of capitalism or war which arguably are more destructive to our society.
I really wish you wouldn’t have walked back from that statement. Any type of mandated medical procedure is draconian. Saying that definitely doesn’t make you “anti-vaccine”.
Keep the body sovereign.
Keep the government out of your pussy, away from your blood stream and off of your ass. Keep politics out of personal decisions. Keep our country the land of the free ~ which includes free speech, free thinking and the right to diverse health options.
