If you ever read an article saying that I told people with AIDS they didn't have to take their medicine because positive thinking would cure it; or that I ever told people who got sick that negative thinking caused it; please know both those things are complete and utter lies.

I KNOW you never said that as I volunteered for the LA Center for Living, heard you speak a bajillion times.Many w/AIDS told you they'd been told they "created" their illness & could uncreate it. You spoke out about the cruelty of such a position calling it New Age Fundamentalism

I volunteered at manhattan center & attended healing circles w people living w AIDS -Clear it was to build spiritual health AND take meds, eat well, meditate etc. People demonize spiritual accountability bc they dont want to b responsible for their part of the problem

Babe some of us are old enough- we were there, we remember. I was there, before we knew what HIV was. When the hate, homophobia and folks like you spread such disinformation and did such damage we never thought it would get better. Ma'am, we have the receipts- we remember.
