I don’t think that this wound will ever really heal. There are too many on both sides perpetuating it. They really like the divide. It gives them validation.

Great historical analysis. ‘Granted’ equal voting right maybe not best term. Rather, enforcing the 15th Amendment post-reconstruction. Aside, I hope the GOP who passed those era amendments returns.
