Yes. The history of the white man’s treatment of these people of the land is beyond despicable. Ignorance. Greed. Cruelty beyond belief.

Thank you Marianne for reminding us. I would love to see you attend the #WorldPeaceAndPrayerDay with Chief Avrol Looking Horse @gcnacoalition. I know your schedule is packed, but if you could make this happen it would mean so much to so many of us. ❤️🌏🙏 gcnativeamericancoalition.co…

It was thousands or tens of thousands of years, not centuries. The part of North America that became the US was largely settled by the English. The English were conquered in 1066 by the Normans and by the Romans 1000 years earlier. Are their soul's free? Are they making it right?

The First Nations own most of North Vancouver and the land is least from them. Don't know all the details, but I love it. Chief Dan George did a few movies with Clint Eastman and the chief also lived in N Vancouver. A lot of history there.

In this area of Ohio, They moved the natives out on the trail of tears so they could build a canal across the state. The federal project was never finished. (Indian Lake State Park now.) @marwilliamson The local tribe doesn't have native status either.

There is a part of me that deeply responds to this message every time you say it; Life is one, eternal; this must be true; the truth calling our attention for our action. May you be strengthened; may you be heard; may all who have pledged to do this work join in.
