I appreciate that you’re recognizing the need for reparations and reconciliation. However, I’d highly reconsider your distribution plan (other than having “council of leaders” making decisions for how All of what Americans of African Descent are owed is used.🤔Other fair options?

The money is to be used for “projects of economic and educational renewal.” Beyond that stipulation, white America should not have a say in how the money is disbursed. If you owe people money, you don’t get to tell them how to spend it.

That's because their descendants are alive to collect. The same cannot be true of the people who were murdered in concentration camps bc death lasts longer. The war ended only 73 years ago, reparations would be welcomed.
