The problem isn’t that some people get rich in America; the problem is that not enough people have a chance to get rich in America. All should have a chance to thrive. This country belongs to all of us, or it only belongs to a few of us. That is the decision we need to make now.

Why didn't the first comers to the Americas start a brand new society? Religions prevented them they were too deep into believing in ghosts then came the same exploiters from where they were from 242 years later it's still not a new society but a 4th one

Everyone has a chance to thrive. The school systems are not teaching children to be imaginative any more or that thoughts are currency. Hard work has been lost. How do you propose to begin the changes needed to bring this to light?

This wealth inequality was only worsened by the #GOPtaxScam, delivering #BlueBloodWelfare to the GOP donor class. This must end for our sociopathic economic system, #RepubloFascism, to be turned back. #VoteBlueNoMatterWho2020 because only democrats will save the middle class

The problem is that they're getting rich because we're working and they're not paying us for the work we're doing. Productivity = what you're worth for the work you did. Wages = what you're paid for that work. The lines should be roughly equal. They're not. It's not even close.

Rich is the problem though because you can’t get rich without depriving others of resources or exploiting their labor. Equality is the only moral goal.

Who deprives people of the CHANCE to thrive?
Honestly the problem is holding up ‘getting rich’ as an important value to run on when it’s unattainable for SO many given structure of our society. JS’ing

Maybe getting rich shouldn't be the goal. The sickening wealth generated in this country is more often rooted in exploitation than not. The acquisitive nature of the entire enterprise naturally creates a massive underclass of suffering and a stressed middle class of strivers
