How do we pay for these things? Cut the defense budget by 75%. In the age of globalization where we cannot build anything without China, we are wasting money. We're experiencing a phony cold war produced by our government. For heaven's sake, GM is building cars in China & Russia.

The strongest argument against defense spending is globalization. Set yourself a part from the rest of the politicians and teach the public why we do not need an insane defense budget. China is the world's manufacturing hub for global corporations, but yet we demonize them.

At the rate we're going under our current health care system, costs are estimated to be 45 trillion by 2026, so the medicare for all plans floating around are actually less costly than what she quoted. People forget that the tax they'd pay is way less than current premiums.
