I strongly oppose the nomination of Patrick Shanahan. A 30yr executive at Boeing aircraft is not who should be heading the Department of Defense; someone whose background lies in corporate defense contracting is exactly who should not be running the show. npr.org/2019/05/09/703454156…

Want to really make a push in this nomination, include solutions vs. copying the media's thoughts Do we need a 30 Yr Veteran (yes and no) Why not 2 different? One that understands the DOD and one that understands who the gov't deals with? We need solutions not finger pointing

Correct, SuperLobbyist Nominee Shanahan previously served as Boeing senior vice president, Supply Chain & Operations. A Washington state native, Mr. Shanahan joined Boeing in 1986 and spent over three decades with BOEING

My son is a veteran and is appalled. He' going to college using his GI-Bill and has already been screwed out of many of his benefits due to this administration.
