It is so sad that our children have come to think of school shootings as the norm. And we as a country have not made the changes necessary to stop the violence. Our lack of political action condones it. This is an easy one - more stringent gun legislation.

I grew up in BC Canada - there were no such thing as active shooter drills in school. We had earthquake drills and emergency drills - even stranger danger drills. It’s disgusting that children are not as important as guns in 🇺🇸 . Guns are nothing compared to children for 🇨🇦
I grew up in the hood I heard gunshots frequently. So much so that I'm dull to the noise
