Tens of thousands now die each year of opioid addiction. Whether those deaths were accidental or not, in some way they meant all those people found simply being here too painful to bear. We have to ask ourselves what we have created, as a society, that so many people want out.

Trying to fill a hole in their souls. Maybe wanting what they think is good. Like more stuff. And think less of themselves because they do not think they have the means. We need to Drastically change the whole mindset of our Planet. We need to teach AWE in our classrooms.

Once you are addicted your life is the chase of relief only the drug can give .Alcoholism ,drug addiction Food Whatever is the master .Only a desire to change and surrender to the fact you are powerless can begin the necessary recovery. Not something new .

Too many of us are too painful and too hopeless to carry on. ACTION is demanded by the rest of us. Marianne is a best hope at this moment to bring the solution of loving perspective to our policies. Love.

I’m a Substance Abuse Counselor and it’s the addiction that makes them feel enslaved. I work with people to get them off all opiates. Most people afflicted started out w a script from the doc ☹️... recovery should be less than an anonymous!! Let’s get happy

Life is work and it’s not always easy, happy go lucky fun. So people get bored and discouraged. Start to look for escape from the realities of life. And the problems start. That’s just one thought.
