The way to transform this country is to unleash the spirit of our people; uncap people’s dreams & watch them soar. THAT’S why we need free health care & higher ed, $15 min wage, cancelled college debt - so people can get about the business of creating what they’re here to create.

I have been paying on a $35K student loan debt for 6 years now. $200 a month. Never missed a payment. Guess how much my loan is now? $37,856. Yep. #TrueStory . I will die with this debt if nothing is done about it.

Something WILL be done; “we the people” are going to keep pushing on this one. Canceling that debt is an idea whose time has come. What this country needs now more than anything is leadership that’s unequivocal about the things that matter most.

If you make it to the WH, I believe it. I was supposed to be a statistic (homeless high school drop out) but I defied the odds and earned 3 college degrees. Stuck in debt can't buy a house. BUT, I'm not hopeless! I believe we are going to change this country. #2020 LET'S GO!

No interest just pay the principal might sound like a better idea, maybe adjust the amount for inflation, but cancelling the debt is irrational. What will be next, cancellation of credit card debt?
