Voicing support for BDS isn't punishing anyone. It's speech.

I'm talking about engaging in physical acts of boycott, which is not speech.

Physical acts of boycott? Dude, boycott is just refusing to accept or purchase goods or services from a country. Do you really think people should be FORCED to financially support a FOREIGN POWER that they disagree with? Is boycotting Saudi Arabia Islamophobic?

Federal law prohibits boycotts against US ally Israel. Treating Israel the same as other countries is not financially “supporting” Israel; it is simply not discriminating against it. The Nazis boycotted Jewish businesses and you want to boycott the world’s only Jewish country.

Name another country federal law prohibits boycotts against.

Name another US ally country targeted for boycott by the oil-rich Arab League: jewishvirtuallibrary.org/bac…
2
Stop deflecting and name one. You can't, because it violates the first amendment.
1
You can't name another country targeted for boycott by the Arab League or any other group of countries because Israel stands alone for anti-Semitic targeting. The U.S. prohibits boycotts against Israel specifically because it is the only country victimized by such hatred.
2
I'm old enough to remember calls for boycotts against United States ally France. No Constitution violating laws were passed to curb that speech.
1
You must be mentally retarded since I have already said that boycotts are physical action, not speech. Merely advocating a boycott is protected speech whereas an actual boycott is not speech but action. Saying you want to stab someone is different from actually stabbing them.
2
I have never said, in any way, that people should not be able to boycott. I don't know who spread that but I never said it. Anyone should be able to boycott if they wish, and I totally opposed the bill that would have said otherwise. The right to boycott is a free speech issue.
