Gandhi said “politics should be sacred.” He meant we should approach it from the level of the heart - the reverent, devotional aspects of ourselves. Would we not then take better care of America’s children? Atone for our past mistakes? Wage peace more than we wage war?

This is almost criminally misleading and disingenuous. Gandhi was a lifetime believer in the caste system, and saw anyone who attempted to advance their social standing as defying God. He was a brutal misogynist and unabashedly racist to indigenous Africans. #Dumpgandhi

If not from the ❤ the mind deceives us, the ❤ is our connection to our Soul and Spirit. This is the way of the Light, otherwise darkness prevails and we and our deception is laid. Children are our future ❤❤❤

“Sacred” is the complete opposite of Politics, especially in a democracy. The Sacred needs a Right of Passage and only the select few get the opportunity to engage the process. Gandhi was no politician, he was an activist and a shoddy one. It’s COMMITMENT we need, not reverence.
