Having perpetrated the wars In Vietnam & Iraq, both of which were catastrophic military misadventures, the US in the 21st-century should be the greatest purveyor of peace. Right now we do more to prepare for war than to wage peace; this will change or more catastrophe lies ahead.

Migrants and refugees leave home because of humanitarian crises. Instead of just arguing about what we should do with them here, let’s work harder to make conditions livable there.

So many seemingly well meaning people who wouldn't be caught dead in a war zone think nothing of wallowing in the blood money oozing out of their stock portfolios whenever we go to war. "Divest For Our Lives " is as important as "March For Our Lives ".
