Having perpetrated the wars In Vietnam & Iraq, both of which were catastrophic military misadventures, the US in the 21st-century should be the greatest purveyor of peace. Right now we do more to prepare for war than to wage peace; this will change or more catastrophe lies ahead.

Hi @marwilliamson while your observations/commentary are interesting & provocative, a campaign is a call to action with a specific agenda and steps to follow for supporters. Your social media stragegy could be better executed. #Marianne2020

I invite you to look at my website Issues section. I don’t think you will see more specific policy proposals on the site of any other candidate. marianne2020.com/issues

May our leadership of today guide us to bring our troops home soon and speedily. And may the consciousness of our resolve promote a global vision of peace, compassion and oneness for all.

Marianne, if you are referring to Venezuela, I would suggest you avoid taking the Alejandra Ocasio-Ortiz and Ihlan Ortiz attitude. While we don’t want any more lives lost, being anti-Trump here over being humane and indifferent is far from spiritual. Instead, be a bridge to peace

Wars are always so senseless. It amazes me how easily governments can get their people to keep signing on to them. Read Eisenhower’s warning about the perpetual war machine of the military industrial complex
