Bernie Sanders was on the Breakfast Club, and Charlamange brought up the issue of reparations and pointed out that Black ppl were specifically targeted with discrimination so we need specific assistance. And Bernie start talking about helping ALL people. No Bernie #ByeBernie

look up @marwilliamson not sure how close she’ll get to the presidency but she’s mentioned a monetary amount. It was way too low but she’s the only candidate to specify an amount

Thanks for the info, but I've heard of her and don't think she has a chance to even get the nomination.

But she wants to hand the money over to so called Black leaders to decide what to do with it

thats definitely going to be a non-starter. There’s plenty of time to refine any potential plans on how to disburse funds and what it will actually consist of. At this point, we’re just seeing who supports it and who opposes it. Bernie is a hard “no” so we know where he stands.

Most candidate don’t

Not surprising. We’ll stay the course and let the chips fall where they may. If the democrats want a 2nd term of Trump, then they can stay on this path.

But reparations only have a 32% popularity. And if you know anything about politics you can’t win with those numbers. Sad but real facts

I'm not running to say what I think people want to hear; I'm running to say what I believe needs to be said. Why don't we give people the option of doing the right thing, and see if they'll vote for it? Maybe they won't, but it still will have impacted the ethers that it was said

It does need to be said and I’m glad you are for it. But where do you stand on other issues such as Medicare 4all, green new deal, student debt etc. I believe in reparations but I also believe in fixing the system as well

Reparations is only a band aid if the system itself isn’t fixed
