Reparations go beyond closing an economic divide; done well, they close a chapter of American history. They go further than ending an evil, which generations before us did. It is our job now to make restitution for the evil, in economic terms where the wound still festers.

What do you propose specifically? And are you talking just for descendants of slaves or also descendants of other oppressed communities as well?

So what do you purpose for Native American descendants? Their ancestors were taken as slaves as well, and how do you compensate for their continent lost? Surely the healing you seek would be incomplete and fall short without addressing this as well, at the same time?

You seem to have more of a specific plan for Slave Descendants Reparations as opposed to Native Reparations, especially in terms of dollar amounts. $200 - $500B for the former. Nothing proposed for the latter?
