How will you keep drug costs down?: Sanders is super hype about answering. "Don't get me going" -- Crowd laughs. #SandersTownHall "The pharmaceutical industry is the most greed entity in this country today." 1 out of 5 people cant afford medicine.

Sanders: Last year the pharmasuitical industry made $50 billion in profit, but 1 in 5 ppl can't afford the medicine they need. Pointed out that our prices are higher because "every other country on earth negotiates prices" and we don't because the pharma industry has $ & power.

Asked if Republicans believe in free trade, why cant we import drugs from Canada? He keeps putting Republicans on the defensive and they're not even there. It's a refreshing change of pace from democratic apologia.

He got the "why didn't you help Hillary" question. He says he rejects the premise. "I do not accept for one moment that I did not do everything that I could." Also pointed out that more of Hillary's supporters voted for McCain than his did for Trump.

On "what are you going to do about minority outreach": Talked about winning the most young POCs. Then shifted to talking about the racial wealth gap and said he should've done a better job connecting his fight against wealth inequality to racial drivers of the gap.

Also said he will do everything he can to have the most diverse cabinet possible. Crowd seemed to like the answer.

The reparations question: "There are massive disparities that must be addressed." References the 10/20/30 legislation by Clyburn. "We have to do everything that we can to end institutional racism in this country."

When Wolf asked a clarifying follow up saying others have supported it, Sanders asked "what do they mean?" Wolf read what Elizabeth and Castro said, but Sanders pointed out that that wasn't exactly "reparations." Sanders said he agrees with what Warren said. Somewhat awkward.
