I haven’t heard anyone ask Howard Schulz why he doesn’t start with “an entry-level position.” People associate our government with big businessmen and assume they have the skill set to know how to run it. But govt should not be run like a business; it should be run like a family.

Run the government like a family? How about just running it like a government? There are plenty of models of good government available. No, don't run a gov. like a family. Formula for nepotism. Love ya' @marwilliamson

Disagree on a few pts: our country has not been run like a business which is the problem. If my biz ran up deficits and did the kind of crap gov'ts do, I'd be 1st in massive debt, then wandering the streets out of biz. We absolutely NEED to employ best-biz practices in gov!
