The conversation that prevails within our politics is so disconnected from our deep humanity that what should uplift us instead dispirits us. We have to change the conversation before we can change the country. Calling all philosophers, healers, artists - your country needs you!

While I agree with you and consider myself in the categories you are calling on...we would need to be able to reach and transform a huge section of the population that labels all of it "woo woo" or "airy fairy." That is a tall order without massive media backup right now.

Heartening to hear a call for philosophers, healers, artists. As a poet, poetry is how I pray & hope it might offer a message of hope /healing in our wounded times. In response to your call, I submit my short spiritual meditations (aka aphorisms): blog.bestamericanpoetry.com/…

You have always recognized this for us Marianne. The conversation continues and has expanded to Europe where I was with dozens who stand with US in consciouness, transformation and love.

You are correct philosophers, healers & artists job is to motivate inspire inform and express something deep within the conscience to shift the tides and winds that bind. it's a clarion call "Art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable "

Telling me to research nazi prison camps is not one of them. Since you don't know me . My mother was in a Japanese internment camp when she was eleven years old. She was rescued by General Mc Auther they were so starved that many of them broke their hips on the ride out .
