You're right. It's not an entry level position. Only someone who has had, say, a 35 year career addressing and dismantling systems of human dysfunction should even think about running.

Sure, as long as that career has included such tasks as putting together a multi-trillion dollar budget, negotiating and complying with treaties involving hundreds of other nations, understanding decades of Constitutional scholarship, and on and on and on.
