If the president were given the money he wants for a wall, that same money would not be spent on border security techniques most needed (at ports of entry etc). This is all sleight of hand, gaslighting on a national scale. Why? We don’t know. But all of us should ask ourselves.

Actually, we do know. Trump is merely catering to his most radical and extremist supporters because they are the ones who will never abandon him, regardless of how much he hurts them. Walls symbolize Fear and Stasis. Bridges symbolize Progress.

Why? Aren't we listening? The President is merely echoing what our Border Patrol the ones actually doing the job is asking for. More security, hiring, & the wall where it's needed.. playing personal politics isn't caring for the American ppl. Can we listen to those doing the job?

During his presidential campaign, he repeatedly emphasized building a wall. It helped get him elected. Now the public that got all fired up about this is implying that he’s not decisive enough to build it. He has painted himself into a corner. A no-win situation. Rock/hard place!
