Statement from Covington important for two reasons: 1) as a religious institution, it's important they take a stand for human values, &2 ) it's important for the boys to know that such behavior would have consequences. No, boys, rudeness & bigotry is not what makes America great.

I do respect your position in that any religious institution must have zero tolerance against bullying/racism/bigoted behaviour and yet in watching the tape,quite a few times, leaves doubt of who actually started the problems, not the boy...(?)

I’m very disappointed in you Marianne. You’ve always been an inspiration to me but as the mother of teenage boys I don’t appreciate the fact that you’re jumping on a bandwagon without watching the entire video. The adults all behaved badly because they didn’t like their hats!
