USA is the only country that bases its educational funding on property taxes, ensuring poorer children will get a poorer education thus perpetuating poverty. It’s a way a veiled aristocratic system keeps power to itself. It won’t change until we change it Marianneforamerica.com

And most of it has little to do with property taxes. Poorer children normally do not have parental support or engagement than their more affluent counterparts. They also have a higher turnover rate of teachers in their schools which also impacts success.

And it’s not just the money aspect. It’s the system and what we are taught and NOT taught. How many people graduate high school knowing what their life purpose is? “Veiled” system very much so!

Are you going to force this or inspire this change

When the housing market crashed I was an educator. I got it. Then quit my teaching job to help change our education system. Education is the answer to our problems. We need change in funding sources and we need it now. #EducationMatters #AllKidsMatter

Wow. I was not aware of that. That’s hardly veiled.

No, it doesn't base its educational funding on property taxes.
