The US should pay reparations for slavery in the form of $100B given to educational and economic renewal in the black community, just as Germany paid $89B in reparations to Jews after WW2 & the US paid $20,000 in reparations to each surviving victim of Japanese internment camps.

Good start.. but, 100B not enough.

And if the U.S. does that, after a while they will be wanting another $100B, because they will claim it wasn't enough, and this will go on and on until somebody finally says "no" - it is just another something-for-nothing scheme. Nobody alive in the U.S. now ever owned slaves.

Like the advocacy! 100 billion is too low, but on the right track

Thank you Marianne. More voices speaking up for justice is sorely needed. As a long time reader/listener, this means a lot to me. Namaste.

Make it a smooth 500 zillion plus no taxes for the next 10 generations and that should just about level things 🤷🏾‍♂️

I been saying this for years. At least free tuition at any college for students that WANT or need an education for career growth
