The US should pay reparations for slavery in the form of $100B given to educational and economic renewal in the black community, just as Germany paid $89B in reparations to Jews after WW2 & the US paid $20,000 in reparations to each surviving victim of Japanese internment camps.

I think we 're talking trillions when all said and done. We have to take into account what America is worth today. What our ancestors initial investment was. Because it was an investment. Lives lost at sea. Jim crow, black codes, redlining, ect ect. The meter is still running.

Universal healthcare should be available in the US as it is in every other advanced democracy. Millions of Americans live with chronic anxiety over what would happen if they got sick or one of the children got sick, capping their creativity, productivity & emotional availability.
