No, liberal pundits are having an integrity crisis, choosing to ignore the REALITY that we are a nation of laws. No honest American wants to stop peaceful immigrants from entering USA legally. After all, our First Lady @FLOTUS is an immigrant!

Surely that philosophical core has never been real, and always conditional. Not *really* everyone. Perhaps sincerely clearing up the wreckage of the past might be a way forward.

It's an ideal; it's never been fully actualized but it's the job of every generation to further it. There has been evil yes, but others have met the challenges to eradicate it and now it's our turn. From Abolition to Suffrage to Civil Rights, what others have done now we must do.
