An economic system that places corporate profits before ethical & moral considerations is the underlying cause of poverty, environmental degradation & most every other form of societal dysfunction. Our govt. serves as a handmaiden to that system, & that is what we need to change.

In a well-regulated free market system, corporate profits are good for everyone. They are demonstrably highly correlated with ethical and more considerations. A quick look at the 20th Century’s murderous collectivist schemes is instructive.

What I’ve tried to convey to Facebook friends is that capitalism and socialism have a symbiotic relationship. One can’t exist without the other. It’s just a matter of degrees. In our case we desperately need socialized health in some form or another.

Football analogy: Players are elected officials with different levels of integrity. Fans are voters. Owners are the 1% that really don't care that much which team wins. They just want the elected officials and voters distracted by the game.

If you don’t like corporations why don’t you start your own business & give away all your profits instead of lecturing the world on something you know nothing about? Lol, then get back to us & tell us how how successful you are!

If you are so concerned about poverty why do you live in an expensive home, have the life of a socialite, live beyond the dreams of billions of others. This is a two faced statement from you. I would rather be poor and honest that rich and play this role you play.

This is what's wrong with this country. If we don't have companies & people striving for success, we fail. If a company only needs to cover costs, then they will fail. If you want socialism, move to a country that has it. Funny, noone wanting socialism will move there.

And the horrible military-industrial complex, so many resources wasted. We could live in a utopia if we wanted to, clean water - abundant healthy food and educated people throughout the 🌎. It’s actually a hell we’ve created on Earth.

We were able to send men to the moon with a slide rule. surely by now you can do the math on paper and show how simple it is to house those that are working or going to school for under $100 plus snacks That should solve the housing problem for all who are trying!
