When someone’s life is in chaos, they can’t stop the chaos just by addressing what’s wrong on the outside; they have to address what’s wrong on the inside. Same with a nation because a nation is just a group of people. Until we awaken spiritually America will be out of control.

I’ve always appreciated you as a teacher over the years. I’m not sure how you can be a democratic nominee while calling for a spiritual awakening in our country. Seems like too many in the party are anti-spiritual. I hope you are successful.

I don't think someone's political party speaks to what's in their heart, their spirituality, or their relationship to a Higher Power. I've seen too much in my life to believe that. And God isn't just in what we say; it's in what we stand for.

When we meditate, Awaken Spiritually, and neutralize our over identification with the fear-based ego, we will be able to FEEL the Inner Love coming from the Source Of Our Being. And then we will automatically want just as much for everyone else as we want for our self#LoveHeals

I thought this was a very sharp insight Marianne. Processing your shadow is something that several respected psychologists & metaphysical teachers discuss. However, it can take a bold act of courage to begin the process.

And how may we individually and collectively spiritually awaken? Your tweets define the difference between symptoms and cause. Please offer everyone individual and collective solutions to the problem so all may have ideas to implement. Craig Fisher Pierce

"awaken spiritually" being often substantially different from "participating" in organized religion.

I agree. But our culture is swinging away from spirituality and toward a more secular character. Is it a pendulum which will swing back? Or is it more permenant? And how do we get it to swing back (assuming that’s what is best)?

I have always believed that politics / governments can never do a good job creating a healthy and happy population because in every area of life the symptoms and not the cause is addressed.
