What a scam has been perpetrated over last 40 years, training the American people to expect so little from their govt. Health care? Nah. Protection from gun violence? Nah. Economic justice? Nah. Good schools for all our kids? Nah. The scam will continue until the scammed wake up

Nothing wrong with raising concerns if you have them, but wasn’t small government and ultimate individual freedom/choice the underlying point of America? Disagreeing with this concept is one thing, but calling it a scam is a little dramatic.

This has nothing to do with large or small govt, it has to do with whether the power of govt is placed at the service of the people, or of large corporations. The “Keep government small” mantra is part of the scam; there’s nothing small about multi billion $ corporate subsidies.

Your point is good, but the best argument for smaller govt is it’s less corruptible by big corps and more accountable to the public. The endless bureaucracy provides self serving cronies to hide in every corner.

Well I would agree with you there. I’ve been having a lot of conversations over at @exploreminds_tv with pro-small government advocates, and from what I’ve heard they are also against these big business subsidies for the exact reason. Sounds like a mutual fight :)
