What a scam has been perpetrated over last 40 years, training the American people to expect so little from their govt. Health care? Nah. Protection from gun violence? Nah. Economic justice? Nah. Good schools for all our kids? Nah. The scam will continue until the scammed wake up

Representative government will only happen when Citizens United is repealed.. Money being equated to free speech means the non- rich having their voices drowned out. Dark money means dark forces in control of policy. Trickle down only works on a liquid principle and it ain't rain

We’re not going to be able to overturn Citizens United anytime soon given the current make-up of the Supreme Court. So we need massive new citizen engagement plus state efforts against dark money in full force. We will do this. In time we will do this.See movetoamend.org

Nothing wrong with raising concerns if you have them, but wasn’t small government and ultimate individual freedom/choice the underlying point of America? Disagreeing with this concept is one thing, but calling it a scam is a little dramatic.

This has nothing to do with large or small govt, it has to do with whether the power of govt is placed at the service of the people, or of large corporations. The “Keep government small” mantra is part of the scam; there’s nothing small about multi billion $ corporate subsidies.

They’ll have to do a little more than wake up. They’ll have to find the courage to act

If you haven’t found your courage to act yet, you’re not really awake yet.

What do you feel we can do to help poeple care and want to become a part of the solution. Especially to the ones who come from generations of not having a voice. These poeple that are not being accountable. What can I do?

Believing you can or should get all these things from the government is ridiculous. How about parents, leaders, families, churches, and communities stepping up to the plate?

It’s even worse. Republican conservatives think government can not do a good job helping people .
