A corporation does not just have fiduciary responsibility to its stockholders; it has a moral responsibility to all its stakeholders, including its workers, community and environment. An amoral economy is a corrupt economy, sucking the soul out of the nation it is here to serve.

A corporation is here to make money, nothing more. A government is meant to serve, not a corporation. A corporation has no soul. Our government (sadly, today) is the soul of the nation.

Only since 1980s was that idea promulgated. Previous to that time it was assumed corporations had ethical responsibilities just like every other corner of society. Govt. gave the 2017 tax break to corporations supposedly to help the people, not just to increase corporate profits.

If more corporations would learn how John Legere of T-Mobile demonstrates moral responsibility, we鈥檇 all be better off!!
