What about the migrant who was arrested with his “daughter”. Yes, he was a sex trafficker and she was NOT his daughter. Don’t we owe it to those children to investigate everyone?

Absolutely. Of course we have to vet people and of course we have to have border security, but we can have those things without violating our moral or humanitarian principles. Asylum is a statutory right, and immigration is a principle that is core to who we are as a nation.
