She is absolutely right. Americans have been trained to expect so little from our government, but perhaps that is about to change.
Insurance groups are recommending GoFundMe as official policy - where customers can die if they can’t raise the goal in time - but sure, single payer healthcare is unreasonable. h/t @DanRiffle

Not if you move to single-payer healthcare. Absolutely a terrible idea. Why on earth would anyone want their healthcare benefits politicized? The ONLY way the gov't will be able to reduce costs, is to cut benefits, and reimbursement. Why can't people figure this out?

#MedicareForAll would enable us to negotiate cheaper prices through out our health system while expanding benefits rather than cutting them while shifting the focus towards prevention in addition to possibly aiding in ridding us of #PoisonForProfit policies as well.

This is nonsense. In a single payer system where the gov’t is the payer, there is no negotiation of benefits or reimbursement. That’s my point. In that scenario you also get Dr shortages = higher waiting times = > patient mortality. Look at the VA.

Wait. Do you think that women can “negotiate” with her insurance company?

Now you’re comparing premiums with benefits. Apples and oranges. At least in a free market, the woman/man can shop for the benefit package that fits them best. Not be held to what the gov’t is willing to provide.
