A society in which CEOs of companies that actively harm health & well-being of people & planet earn hundreds of millions of $ a year while there are elementary school teachers who need to take second jobs in order to survive, is one beset by an extraordinary perversion of values

It's called free market. How about professional athletes? Movie stars? Perhaps if we privatized education, good teachers would be in such demand that they would get better pay, attracting more good teachers while bad teachers would be out of a job and away from our children.

If we did a country "self assesment" about where our money and attention goes, it would reveal our values. And they would be; we value war, spy tradecraft, and currently, conflict. #AmericasMoralInventory where do we actually stand? #AwarenessIsTruth

I agree no morals and values.

I'm being harmed by an insurance co that refuses to pay for my cancer surgery & treatments cause it's cheaper to let me die. While I appeal their decision my cancer spreads. My life matters & IS valued by the victims of dv/sexual assault/rape I advocate for. (See pinned tweet)
