Not hard too understand. As a society, like it or not, 'having' or 'knowing' or 'getting' is what the vast majority values.. even though they deny it.. GREED is what drives society. Period.

Please get In touch with Diane Ravitch about the state of education in this country. Read her books. People want good neighborhood community schools. Charter schools are all about corporate greed. Please support schools run by their communities.
