It’s going to take more than a change in government to fundamentally turn things around now; it’s going to take a change in us. Each of us needs to realign ourselves with the angels of our better nature if America is going to realign itself with hers.

What are two things that people can be doing right now to begin a fundamental shift internally which will then radiate externally and bring America back in alignment to tenderness, love, and compassion?

1) Release your judgments toward those who don't agree with you. 2) Release your judgments toward the country itself, praying to be an instrument of peaceful change in the areas where we need to change. 3) Pray to be of service to the nation and the world.

Change depends on personal transformation. It also depends on laws made and enforced that set standards and guidelines that humans aren't willing to stick to on their own. Most people are good. We have to deal with those who think laws/ethics don't apply to them
