The USA will reinstate sanctions against Iran on Monday. Just to be clear, sanctions do not hurt governments; they hurt innocent men, women & children...who among things, are then told that their misery is due to the Americans. It’s never good policy to purposefully inflict pain.

Which then feeds extremism. I hadn’t thought of it that way before.

Iran is under no obligation whatsoever to obey the US sir. Unfortunately the US has been funding terrorist organisations for decades including Al Nousra in Syria and providing KSA with weapons which has led to what the WHO calls "the greatest humanitarian crisis of our times".

Have you visited Iran? I'd highly recommend it. Friendliest nation on earth (and that's saying a lot coming from an Irishwoman). Also, I'm v glad that Iran isn't joining so many western nations in kowtowing to KSA.
