Sometimes you have to walk through the jungle of your mind before you can reach the clearing in your soul. We should be less afraid of our despair sometimes, because it too can be part of the journey. The demons we meet in the darkness are dissolved once we reach for the Light.

Truth! Be still and know that I am God has been the hardest during my own dark moments, trusting that all my Plan B’s are a result of not trusting the ONE plan. I just read Judgment and the Authority Problem. I love this “I know what I am and I accept my own inheritance.”

You just put words to a dream/nightmare from which I awakened this morning. Why does it feel like there is no end to the darkness of evil in this world? I reach out to God every time and the Course and still feel isolated and alone...

Thank you Marianne. I love you and how your heart speaks to my heart; to all of our hearts!

Been thinking a lot, reading some stories, about Holocaust Survivors of late. Victor Frankl, in Nazi death camps, his only sustenance, a fish head in a bowl of dirty water? How, could a spec of will, mind or spirit survive such seemingly endless despair?

He stared into the ugliness of that bowl until he found the beauty... Later he said, "Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom."

My mind went back to one of the worst days of my life, the death of my brother, my hero (literally) as a child. I had made a wrong decision that, to this day, I know for certain, had I chosen differently, his tragic death would not have happened.

I realize now what Frankl (and Marianne) have spent their lives trying teach us about "love." It's in that "SPACE." Always whispering, imploring us to "Return to Love" for forgiveness, healing, transcending, transforming grief and despair... back in Love.
