America needs a miracle: a shift from fear to love. We need to reconcile with our history, atone for our mistakes, pay reparations for slavery etc so we can dissolve the unreconciled emotional ambivalence. If we don’t fall in love with America we won’t be able to lift it back up.

I feel like we should change the way in which history is taught to our youth. If we change that, then we can acknowledge and forgive our past as a nation. I have so many thoughts about this!
